This recipe puts a playful twist on the classic margarita by adding lime sherbet, making it extra creamy and delicious. Plus, you can make it ahead and keep it frozen until party time!

Ingredients

• 1 can (12 oz) frozen limeade concentrate
  
  
• 1 cup (or a bit more) Jose Cuervo Gold tequila
  
  
• 3/4 cup triple sec (such as Secor’s)
  
  
• 4–5 cups ice (enough to fill your blender to about 1 inch from the top)
  
  
• 1/4 to 1/2 fresh lime, juiced
  
  
• 1 generous scoop lime sherbet
  
  

Instructions

1. Prepare Your Glasses:
   Rim each glass with a lime wedge and dip in coarse salt or Tajín for a festive touch.
   
   
2. Blend the Margarita:
   In a large blender, combine the frozen limeade concentrate, tequila, and triple sec.
   
   
3. Add Ice:
   Fill the blender with ice, leaving about an inch of space at the top.
   
   
4. Blend Until Slushy:
   Blend until smooth and slushy.
   
   
5. Add Fresh Lime:
   Squeeze in the juice of 1/4 to 1/2 a fresh lime, to taste.
   
   
6. Sherbet Twist:
   Add a generous scoop of lime sherbet and blend again until creamy and well combined.
   
   
7. Serve and Enjoy:
   Pour into prepared glasses, garnish with a lime wedge, and serve immediately.
